Survivor New Zealand star Louisa McClintock is offering herself as a farm hand as she gets set to travel the North Island.
The 19-year-old North Canterbury farmer, who recently left reality show Survivor New Zealand due to injury, made the offer on a Facebook post along with her friend Jo.
So far they've had "amazing" offers from more than 30 farms.
McClintock told The Country Early Edition's Dom George about her time on Survivor and what's next on her agenda.
It was no ordinary interview, while talking to Dom she was getting a tattoo!
Is McClintock getting a Survivor New Zealand memento etched on her skin for eternity?
Not at all, her reason for getting inked is way more practical. McClintock is constantly losing her medic alert bracelet so has decided to get it permanently tattooed on the top of her wrist just in case she needs medical attention and she finds herself without her bracelet.
McClintock started farming at 17 and she loves it. She works with ewes, cattle and hoggets and enjoys the family bond that comes with life on the farm.
Dom and Louisa talk about the Survivor experience, the injury that ended her time on the island and her love of hunting before moving on to her plans for the future.
Lou and her friend Jo are going to travel the North Island by visiting and working on farms along the way. The pair are also planning to make a documentary of their adventures and Louisa is no stranger to the camera having been on an episode of Country Calendar with her granddad which was really well received.
