Fonterra's Head of Farm Source Taranaki, Scott Walls caught up with The Country Early Edition's Dom George for an update on the dairy co-op.
In today's interview Scott talks about the Farming Leaders' Pledge which was signed by a group of pastoral farming leaders representing 80 per cent of the country's pastoral farmed land.
Their ambitious goal is to working with New Zealand to make waterways swimmable for their children and grandchildren. Fonterra Chairman John Wilson is part of the group.
Also in this interview Scott talks about Labour's proposed water tax, the opening of a state- of-the-art cheese plant in Stanhope, Australia and what's happening in Taranaki.
