Megan Hands is "fired up" about the Labour Party's freshwater policy which proposes royalty charges for commercial water usage.
The environmental consultant and self-proclaimed "politics geek" spoke to The Country's Jamie Mackay about the policy which she believes could take farmers' money away from agricultural practises that could benefit the environment.
Megan has been "playing with some figures" and offers her opinion on what the potential cost the "water tax" could result in for both farmers and consumers.
