The Country Early Edition's Dom George caught up with dairy farmer Aimee Smith in February for a chat about her Facebook page NZ Rural Singles.
Aimee set up NZ Rural Singles to help those in the agricultural industry find friendship and love. So how has the page progressed since she last spoke to The Country Early Edition?
Aimee says the page is doing "brilliantly" and now boasts 700 members. Smith has vetted every candidate personally to make sure NZ Rural Singles is a safe space for people genuinely looking for love or companionship.
Group members have even met up a couple of times and activities include going to the rugby or the speedway. Friendships have been forged but has there been any love?
Smith is happy to announce NZ Rural Singles can celebrate its first couple who met through the site.
