It has been a busy week for Fonterra with the announcement of its farmgate milk price along with the ever-present task of dealing with Mycoplasma bovis.
Fonterra's Head of Farm Source for Bay of Plenty, Lisa Payne spoke to The Country Early Edition's Rowena Duncum saying farmers will have to take precautions with Moving Day coming up.
"It's all about following best practices," says Payne who advises that farmers track stock movement through NAIT and that it's best to set aside land where new animals can be kept separate from existing cattle for seven days.
