Jim Hopkins is appealing for some balance when it comes to the urban/rural divide. He caught up with The Country's Jamie Mackay today to chat about how he believes that the politicians who criticise farming "are soft when it comes to the city".
Water is also on Jim's mind today. He reckons New Zealand has failed to capture, store and redistribute water to areas that need it most. For example, Hopkins says Northland shouldn't have to wait for "massive storms" to be able to irrigate the area.
