The National Party has claimed Labour is planning to bring in seven taxes if they get into government this September. Labour Leader Jacinda Ardern denied this on The Country today, saying "that is wrong, it is false and it's scaremongering."
Ardern says National has a "head in the sand" attitude about the housing crisis and low homeownership in New Zealand whereas Labour is concerned with "fairness" and solving these issues.
Also in today's interview the Labour Leader talks to Jamie Mackay about poll results, voting early and whether Jacinda-mania is still a thing.
Finally Jamie addresses the rural-elephant in the room - will Jacinda Ardern be fronting up in her old home town of Morrinsville to face Monday's farmer protest?
