Dairy product prices fell at the Global Dairy Trade auction, for the second successive auction, amid bets on sufficient supply.
Fonterra's Chief Operating Officer for Farm Source Miles Hurrell spoke to The Country about the latest result and said the predicted increase in milk volumes for the 2017-18 season is now just 1% up on last year's production.
Before Hurrell talks about the auction results, however, host Jamie Mackay gives him a bit of a grilling about the upcoming Fonterra board elections and whether or not the dairy co-op is telling farmers how to vote.
