Eugenie Sage is an environmentalist but she says that doesn't make her anti-farming.
The Minister for Conservation and Green Party member spoke to The Country's Jamie Mackay saying, "we need a sustainable long-term future for farming."
"It's a critical export industry," says Sage who believes the Government is committed to protecting the "clean green image" that New Zealand's farming products represent overseas.
