DairyNZ CEO Dr Tim Mackle caught up with The Country Early Edition's Dom George this morning for an overview of all things dairy.
Dr Mackle is keen to elaborate on his comments about the recent New Zealand Greenhouse Gas emissions report from earlier in the week.
One plan proposed by the UK report was in order to tidy up New Zealand's emissions by 2100 we need to reduce pastoral stock by up to 35 per cent.
Dr Tim Mackle suggests this statement is too simple in that it doesn't take into account why New Zealand may have higher emissions.
