DairyNZ CEO Dr Tim Mackle caught up with The Country Early Edition's Dom George to discuss TVNZ show Sunday's recent episode on dairy farming "The Price of Milk?"
Dr Mackle saw the programme on Sunday evening and said he didn't get to sleep until 2 o'clock in the morning he was so upset.
One aspect of the show he found most distasteful was the depiction of "Flinty" the farmer who was possibly duped by experienced broadcaster and "wily fox" Cameron Bennett.
"It's time to sit back and work out how we solve problems rather than how we sell newspapers" says Dr Tim Mackle.
