The PR man for the New Zealand Forrest Owners Association, Don Carson comments on immigration, the Sunday programme and the taste of ram lamb meat on The Country today.
The Government's new immigration rules are detrimental to seasonal workers according to Carson who says "skewing the immigration rules around to penalise the primary industries is not going to be a good solution".
Sunday's show The Price of Milk has also irritated Carson who disagrees with Federated Farmers' William Rolleston's comment that TVNZ are "stumbling in the dark". Carson reckons someone with Cameron Bennett's experience "knew exactly what he was doing".
On to ram lamb meat and Don Carson puts a few "rural myths" to bed around the supposedly tainted taste.
