Labour's Primary Industry Spokesman Damien O'Connor caught up with The Country's Jamie Mackay and was full of praise for our Prime Minister John Key.
No wait...he finds it difficult to praise "someone who has not looked after the people who needed looking after".
Awkward.
Jamie suggests that Key's tenure has been troubled by the global financial crisis, earthquakes, and many other hurdles so no wonder the economy hasn't been so rosy.
O'Connor sticks to his guns saying only those with money have benefited from Key's government.
All is not lost though, Damien O'Connor thinks John Key has been a brilliant "day to day manager of issues". High praise indeed!
