DairyNZ CEO Dr Tim Mackle joined Dom George on The Country Early Edition to discuss the Government's waterways plan today.
Dr Mackle is pleased with the report and says the Government is heading in the same direction as DairyNZ.
Dr Mackle says the dairy industry has been working towards similar goals for a number of years now and he reckons it's time for the urban population to also pull its weight.
