Bill English didn't mince words today when talking about the opposition. The Prime Minister told The Country's Jamie Mackay that National has a plan to support the economy and reduce poverty while "the Labour Party have some kind of pretty vague confused mess."
English deflects suggestions that he isn't as exciting as new Labour leader Jacinda Ardern, saying that people will soon realise her party has confused policies "because they don't quite know what it is they want to do other than raise more taxes."
Also in today's interview Bill English defends his leaders' debate presentation style, discusses Labour's "punitive" tax on the rural community and examines turmoil on the global stage.
