The Ministry for Primary Industries has been accused by some people of being lax in its response to the recent mycoplasma bovis outbreak. The Country's Dom George asked Prime Minister Bill English if he thinks the ministry is doing a good job in tackling the disease.
Bill English says it is "over simplistic" to criticise the ministry's actions over mycoplasma bovis but admits it is a "real shame" the disease found its way to New Zealand.
Also in today's interview the Prime Minister talks about milk prices, the Manawatu gorge, his election strategy, Kim Dotcom and Todd Barclay.
