Jamie Mackay decided to make today's interview with Bill English as Todd Barclay-free as possible by focusing on some positive rural stories for the Prime Minister to discuss.
Horticulture is "on a bit of a roll" says English, with the kiwifruit and apple industries leading the charge and creating a bit of excitement for New Zealand's economy. Jamie asks the Prime Minister if he plans to put royalties on the water that some apple growers will need to irrigate their crops.
Finally Mackay talks to Bill English about New Zealand's sporting prowess and congratulates the Prime Minister on sorting out his dress sense.
