Wyndham farmer Hayden Peter won the Emerging Talent Award at the Beef and Lamb Sheep Industry Awards in Invercargill last night. He caught up with The Country's Dom George for a chat about his recent success.
It's third time lucky for Peter who has been nominated in the awards twice before. Rather than thinking his luck had run out Hayden says it's an honour to be nominated by his peers each year.
Hayden's a busy man and is involved in many farming societies along with working on his family farm. Mr Peter doesn't feel overloaded at all as he likes to give back to his community.
