KEY POINTS:
Fonterra is appointing professional company director David Jackson to its board of directors.
Jackson was a former chairman of accounting firm Ernst & Young New Zealand, and had extensive international experience, Fonterra said yesterday.
Companies of which he was a director included Pumpkin Patch, the New Zealand Refining Company and Nuplex Industries.
He joins next month and replaces Graeme Hawkins.
