Spectacular coastal views on the Herbertville Trail Ride.

For the 37th year the Herbertville Trail Ride took place on November 4.

The event was originally set up by NZ MX Champion Lui Peeti, and such is its reputation that 180 riders from as far as Wellington and Taupo came to participate.

The trail crossed five farms and as the organiserI was very grateful to the farmers for the stock movement and open gates.

The weather was beautiful, enhancing the experience.

There were heaps of compliments from riders on the variation of riding conditions with technical single track and open paddock riding, allowing views and vistas far and wide of the coast line.

Unfortunately two call outs had to be made to the Rescue Helicopter to pick up riders who were injured on the trail.
