Ground conditions near Palmerston over the weekend were good for the 17 ploughmen and women from as far afield as Kirwee and Gore who competed in the annual East Otago ploughing contest near Palmerston.
Winners from annual regional ploughing competitions, including East Otago, win the right to compete in theannual national contest, which will be held at Kirwee, Canterbury, this year.
