A relaxing day of country fun for the whole family is on offer at Te Puna School's annual Country Fair next Saturday, March 18.
The fair will be jam-packed with fun activities for young and old, flavour-filled food and stalls for all. Children can enjoy the coconut shy, plate smash, rifle range shooting, face painting and much more.
A cake stall will be chocka with home-baked cakes, slices and muffins for sale plus homemade sweets such as fudge, coconut ice and toffee for those with a sweet tooth.
The café will offer tea and coffee and lots of scones, plus there's a barbecue, hangi, candy floss and drinks. People can pre-order a hangi for lunch or buy it on the day.
There will be plants and produce for sale, with a selection of jams, chutneys, pickles and sauces, and there's a secondhand book sale - and the world-famous helicopter ping-pong drop is at 1.30pm on the school field - you could win a free helicopter ride!
