Chelsea Millar has been speaking at the Pomahaka Catchment Media Day to get farmers to tell their tales through social media.
Telling a rural story online may sound a bit foreign to farmers but it's a great way to get a more positive message out there about all the hard work they do. There are nine negative stories for every positive one out there and Millar is keen to get those stats turned around.
Meanwhile Chanelle Purser has quit her day job to join the media! She is running the Hokonui station for us here at NZME. Purser also supports farmers getting into social media story telling.
