Birds of all shapes and sizes flocked to the 126th annual Ashburton Fanciers' Society show at the weekend.
All manner of chickens, ducks, bantams and pigeons were on display among the 800 entries at the Ashburton Sports Hall, with some from as far afield as Nelson and the West Coast.
The show is one of the biggest in New Zealand.
The feature section this year was Minorca and Ancona (Large Fowl and Bantam).
