The annual "shear a sheep, eat a pie, drink a drink" competition took place at the New Commercial Hotel and Pub earlier this month and attracted 23 teams.
Jude Dix, who runs the New Commercial along with Ian Hayward, says the event, in its fourth year, even had a team of South Islanders enter on the day.
"Nothing like coming to Stratford and entering a competition like this!"
Jude says the times were down on last year, with the fastest team coming in at 1.09 and the slowest at 4.29.
"The winning team was made up of Scrub, Mungas and Rowen. We also had two women's teams this year, with Niwa, Tamara and Janelle getting a winning time of 3.17."
