Taihape's Sheree Alabaster was in top form in the woolhandling competition at the Manawatu and West Coast A and P Show of Saturday.
Alabaster won her second title in a row at the show, enhancing her claims to a spot at the world championships for a third time with New Zealand team selection in its early stages.
Alabaster won from Te Kuiti's Keryn Herbert in the shearing and woolhandling championships held at Feilding.
David Buick of Pongaroa won the open shearing title, ahead of Halcombe's Murray Henderson and Aaron Haynes of Feilding, with Taihape's Axle Reid fifth. It was the sixth time Buick has won the Manawatu and West Coast title.
