Top of the Hops: Epic Armageddon IPA wins again

Epic Armageddon IPA is New Zealand's most awarded beer. Dom caught up with founder and head brewer of Epic Brewing Company Luke Nicholas to find out what makes it such a winner.

Balance is a big factor according to Nicholas but often the word associated with the brew is the rather technical "wow!".

Seasonality is a factor when brewing and each recipe is slightly tweaked due to the availability of ingredients. Luke says it's like "starting from scratch" each year and no two batches are exactly the same.
