Rabobank's Northern South Island Regional Manager David Clark has been busy in the North Canterbury and Marlborough regions, finding out how farmers are faring after the recent earthquakes.
People have suffered considerable damage to their properties and there is a lot of emotional stress and pressure faced by farmers as well. Clark says they are coping but "there is a long way to go".
Clark advocates for people to stay in touch with their neighbours and make sure to attend any meetings organised by the Federated Farmers and The Rural Support Trust for help and advice.
