The Country: We ask ASB’s Rural Economist (aka The Oracle) whether the payout’s heading north of $6 and, if so, who’s going to pay for the party at Pollyanna Penny’s?

Nathan Penny goes by many names on The Country. ASB's Rural Economist was saddled with the nickname "Pollyanna" by a sceptical Jamie Mackay, due to his unending devotion and belief in a $6 payout, even after each dire GDTA result.

The tide could be turning however, and now a fickle Mackay is labelling Penny 'The Oracle' as the payout may in fact head north of $6 after all.

Penny remains humble under this grand title but he's sticking to his guns over his catch phrase - 'Party at Pollyanna Penny's' may indeed take place, and hopefully Jamie Mackay will be paying for the drinks!
