Robin Ensoll says she loves "your net", "but when you give answers to problems…can you not also include a Mac version? I firmly believe we are not an endangered species, but we also need assistance."
Not using a Mac myself, Robin, I'm not a kit if use to you (one of these days I will have to satisfy my secret longing for an iMac!). But InBox will certainly tackle abt Nac-specific questions you or other readers have with the help of Adam Gifford, our resident expert in the field. Fire away!

Jeff Weston emails: "In last week's column you tell Carol she needs PowerPoint installed in order to view PowerPoint attachments", and get goes on to remind us that Microsoft has a free viewer for these presentation files at . In fact, all the Office apps have viewers available, handiest being the Word-viewer as it's so wildly used.

A cry for help from Joanne Harris: "When an e-mail is returned because of a wrong address, how do you put in a new address without having to rewrite the e-mail?"
You can cut and paste your original message into a new email with the correct address and fire it off again, Joanne, but what I usually do is hit "Forward", delete all the 'Mail System Error' jargon, and resend to the correct address. Six of one …

"HELP! I'VE BEEN CAPATURED BY MICROSOFT." Bruce Comyns has certainly got a problem. I HAVE BEEN HAPPILY USING HOTMAIL UNTIL RECENTLY WHEN A MESSAGE APPEARED ON MY SCREEN ADVISING THAT HOTMAIL NEEDED AN ADDITIONAL PROGRAM TO RUN PROPERLY. I DOWNLOADED IT (WHICH TOOK A LONG TIME!) AND FOUND I NOW HAVE SOMETHING CALLED OUTLOOK FROM MICROSOFT WHICH IS DIFFICULT TO USE (FOR A NOVICE). HOW CAN I GET BACK TO USING HOTMAIL WHICH USED TO ADIVISE ME IF I HAD MAIL?"
Don't panic, Bruce – always helpful, Microsoft's Richard Brute suggests you probably downloaded Outlook Express by mistake. No problem – banish it by going into Control Panel/Add-Remove Programmes and clicking on its name. PS: hey, no offence, but typing in capitals is considered bad netiguette – it's called "shouting"…
