The Xbox 360 road trip takes off today, starting at 3pm in the Auckland Domain.
Microsoft is taking its "awe-inspiring" 360 Mothership around the country to promote the launch on March 23 of its new video game console.
The company is billing the 13.5m- long, 2.5m-wide Mothership as New Zealand's biggest bus.
Inside, pre-registered gamers will have the chance to preview titles in full high-definition video. Outside, the general public will be able to sample demos, game-offs and giveaways.
The bus is travelling the country until March 27, with stops in 14 cities including Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin.
