Out of this world: CNN claims a world first tomorrow by broadcasting its main night newscast, Newsnight, in 3D (CNN on Sky at 4pm NZ time).
This is so that viewers can see 3D images of the Mars landscape as the US rover on the planet has three-dimensional cameras.
Instructions on how to make the 3D glasses you'll need are here and program details are at CNN.
Exposing Bush in 30s: Some Republicans and right-wing US media have been scathing about a website running a contest for a nationwide search for the best TV commercial "to tell the truth about the Bush Administration's policy failures".

You can see the best entries online at Bush in 30s.
Off the wall: Accused king of pop Michael Jackson now has his own special site to keep his fans informed about the pending court case but it's nowhere near as exciting as what the tabloid press will be reporting about the alleged child molestation case.
Unbundling that loop: Sneaked in over Christmas was the Commerce Commission's report on unbundling the local telecommunications loop - a decision, as mentioned on these pages, that has enormous repercussions for much-needed competition in the marketplace for many of us.
If you were too busy relaxing over that period to take note of it, you can read the full report at Commerce Commission site.
