Let your mouse ... (Whitepages) Finding a phone number is just a website away at this minimalist yet reasonably functional website. Telecom wouldn't want to make it too useful or else no one would use the White Pages or its more lucrative cousin the Yellow Pages (Yellowpages).

Clever thinking, Theresa - (XtraMSN) Microsoft and Telecom put this portal together a few years back and set it as the default webpage for a huge number of Kiwis. It racks up the visitors every month.

Puzzling improver - (TVNZ) Slammed for a redesign that meant many computer users' web browsers couldn't view TVNZ's webpages, the site seems to be improving and is a good source of web-streamed programming. Why they had to kill off Nzoom is still puzzling, however.

Art for art's sake? - (Fuel 4 Arts) A new site offering "free access to an international community of artists and arts professionals, connecting you to people, ideas and leading practice". Worth a look for anyone looking to make a buck out of the arts.
