Lady Madonna: You don't need to win a radio competition to see Madonna live in London. The material girl will be webcasting her Brixton Academy concert with Richard Ashcroft, Texas and The Prodigy's Liam Howlett tomorrow at 9 am (NZ time).

Jurassic yarns: Bestselling author Michael Crichton will be at the Barnes & Noble "Chat and Events" site to talk about his latest book, Timeline, and other block-busters. The chat is tomorrow from 1 pm (NZ time) but the site asks visitors to submit questions beforehand, then return "to watch the conversation unfold."

Battling Black Caps: New Zealand's cricket team is preparing to take on the Proteas in the second test at Port Elizabeth. The CricInfo site will carry ball-by-ball coverage starting this Thursday at 9.30 pm. Hopefully the fighting spirt displayed by the Kiwis in the first test will lead to a rare win on South African soil.
