Kiwi software vendor StayinFront has landed a deal with the United States reprographic company Lanier for its Visual Elk customer relationship management software.
Privately owned StayinFront beat software heavyweights Baan and Siebel for the Lanier deal, which follows seven others the company has made with US pharmaceutical companies in the past three months.
The company's Asia Pacific managing director, Tony Bullen, said the deals added up to at least $100 million over the years they would run.
Staff were being increased, particularly in the US.
Staff numbers in Auckland had grown 20 per cent in the past two years.
