KEY POINTS:
PS3, (G)
Pros: It gets more complicated every year, but EA's market-leading golf game still delivers the goods. Improvements with this season's offering include new on-screen indicators to help get your swing right, which are far easier than the touchy controls in the previous version. Online play is lifted with a new system that makes finding potential competitors faster, plus gameplay flows better with simultaneous shots - meaning you don't have to wait and watch other players. New courses include Sheshan in China and the South African Gary Player Country Club. Graphically, as always, the game is stunning.
Cons: Too complex for those who just want a Wii-style hit-and-hope game experience, Tiger Woods is hard work. But tips from Woods' coach Hank Haney, which show up after each round, are a helpful way to lift your game.
Verdict: Serious players will thoroughly enjoy the improvements, others should look at simpler titles like "We Love Golf" for Wii.
