Telecom has offered telecommunications rival Clear Communications an assurance of the continuity of network interconnection services into the future.
With the expiry date on the current interconnection service contract between the two companies falling due today, the offer is a "fair and reasonable one", according to Telecom's Group General Manager, Network, Simon Moutter.
Mr Moutter said for the time being, Clear could be assured of continued services from Telecom on fair and reasonable terms. In return, Telecom is seeking assurance from Clear that interconnection payments are made as they fall due.
