The Government's auction of mobile telephone frequencies has resumed, following the dismissal of a Maori legal challenge to the process.
The Maori Council failed yesterday in an attempt to convince the Court of Appeal to halt the auction.
The council claims Maori are entitled to more of the spectrum than that which has been put aside for them.
Bidding over the internet was halted yesterday while the Court dealt with the legal challenge.
At the moment bids for the four spectrum blocks total around $34 million, well short of the hundreds of millions that some analysts had expected the frequencies to go for.
