KEY POINTS:
PS2 PG
Pros: SingStar, the holy grail for lounge-room karaoke fans, releases a new version for the still-strong PS2 console. There are a few good songs on offer including, Faith No More with Evidence and - for those happy Emos - Fall Out Boy's This Ain't a Scene, it's an Arms Race, but probably not enough hot tracks to sate most SingStars. The American version, strangely, has a whole different playlist, with big hitters like the Alice In Chains stormer Would and The Killers' When You Were Young.
Cons: Nothing much has changed here - it's just a new song list and the same old game. At least the PS3 version adds online music downloads, drastically enhancing on-going enjoyment.
Verdict: Good party game fun, as always, but we've heard it all before.
