Sex-for-hire robots

Can you imagine a future with sex-for-hire robots? Michelle Mars and Ian Yeoman of Victoria University have tried to determine the feasibility of robot brothels in the future.

Their research speculates about whether spouses will view sex with a robot as infidelity, and predicts protests from human sex-workers.

PERFECTING THE BICEP CURL

Haptic - or tactile - technologies are effective at ensuring they are used correctly; Michael Lyons and Greg Meess are mechanical engineering students and they have developed a haptic feedback gym tool so that people can perform the perfect bicep curl. The developing technology could also have applications in physical therapy.
