Net surfers over the age of 65 search most for travel, computing, current events, entertainment, and family history information, according to an American survey.
Generations on Line, a group based in Maryland, compiled the survey using the searches of 7000 new users to their senior citizens educational programme.
The searches showed that seniors were more interested in travel, news, and entertainment than they were in health or aging issues.
"Oprah" was among the popular search terms, the group said.
