Microsoft is offering a makeover - for New Zealand's ugliest website.

As part of the marketing push for its new ground-up rebuild of the Internet Explorer web browser, the software giant is accepting nominations for ugly websites - and let's be honest, there are no shortage of contenders.

The tongue-in-cheek 'Wuglies' kicks off today, with nominations closing on November 15.

The Wugly winner will have their website redesigned by Microsoft, and optimised for the slick new browser.
