Xbox 360, (M)
Pros: Microsoft, despite jumping the gun on the PS3's release, is playing catch-up again. Lips, the Xbox 360 karaoke game, leapt on the ultra-successful Singstar bandwagon, and now the chase is on with the party game quiz king Buzz. The Xbox equivalent, Scene It? is a new take on its DVD/boardgame predecessors and works well with its two main game modes: Party Play and Play Now. It comes bundled with four wireless controllers, avoiding nasty cable messes. Questions require identifying actors, movies, soundbites, clips and film posters from a massive range of films - some of which are incredibly hard to get. Graphics are excellent, with output up to 1080p available.
Cons: The voiceover is incredibly annoying. While PS3's Buzz is ultra-cheesy there's still some reasonable humour, while in Scene It it falls pretty flat. There are only 1800 questions, but the Xbox helps the game avoid too much repetition.
Verdict: Will this prove the Buzzkill Xbox needs? Probably.
