KEY POINTS:
An 'arcade pack' version of the Xbox 360 will ship before Christmas, offering plenty of bells and whistles.
The price is yet to be confirmed, but is tipped to be close to the current Core console ($449.95), which it is essentially a flashed-up version of, the arcade version will have no hard-drive but will come with a 256MB memory card.
Instead of the Core's wired controller, it will feature the wireless version, and will come with five arcade games and a built=in HDMI port.
The Xbox 360 Pro bundle also gets the Christmas treatment, with a high-def console, media remote, 20GB drive, wireless controller, plus Forza Motorsport 2 and Viva Pinata games for $649.95.
