KEY POINTS:
Apple has released a second update of its Safari 3 browser beta.
Version 3.02 of the previously Apple-only browser fixes some security issues that could potentially allow information to be gathered from users computers.
A timing issue meant that web pages could change the URL in the address bar without actually loading the page.
This could allow 'spoofing' of a legitimate site could lead users to believe their information was safe when it was really at high risk.
New versions of the Safari beta for both Windows and Mac OS x are available at Apple.
