KEY POINTS:
After more than 85 years, the Anzac poppy is growing in new fields of technology.
For the first time this year, New Zealanders around the world can download onto their mobile phone a digital poppy from the RSA's website.
RSA spokesman Steve Clarke says it allows those away from home to have the New Zealand icon for remembrance on Anzac Day, while at the same time helping veterans. The digital poppies will be advertised overseas and each one will cost $2 to download.
