Quantum leap for Prophet developer

The Auckland developer of the Prophet accounting system, Jon Vincent, has begun a new venture.

After selling Prophet to Australian company Attache in 1999, Vincent has formed Desktop Financials to launch another accounting system, Quantum Enterprise Accounting.

The suite is targeted at organisations with a service orientation rather than stock-keeping requirements.

The new venture includes staff from Logical Methods, Vincent's former company.
