While he isn't exactly in TVNZ's good books, it appears that Paul Henry is a big Kiwi favourite online.
Less than a week after featuring in Google's lists of local top searches for the year, the outspoken yet admittedly hilarious broadcaster has also led the local roster on the search giant's video site, YouTube.
It wasn't for his controversial calls over allegedly moustachioed guests, the infamous Governor-General fiasco or even the Dikshit disaster, but for an expletive-laden speech while accepting a People's Choice at the Qantas film and television awards.
Interestingly, our national carrier proved extremely popular - three Air New Zealand videos were in the top 10, including two featuring the glorified throw cushion called Rico.
Also featured on the list was an ad for the ancient aroma that is Old Spice, a Key of Awesome pisstake of Ke$ha's Tik Tok, a weird kid lipsynching badly to a bad song and a even weirder hippy getting all orgasmic over a double rainbow.
"The most-watched YouTube videos of 2010 reflect the people, places and events that captured our attention and imagination throughout the year," said YouTube's community manager Mia Quagliarello.
What does this list say about New Zealand as a web surfing nation? Probably best not to dwell on that one.
Check out the global top ten, led by Autotune the News' take on a news story featuring Alabama man Antoine Dixon - Bed Intruder Song. It hit the US music charts and generated so much revenue that it bought Dixon a new home.
Other countries' biggest videos can be seen on YouTube's Rewind section.
