NZ farmers get wired up

Rd1.com chief executive Neal Murphy says the company has sold 400 PCs to farmers in the last 10 weeks.

It estimates about 60 per cent of farmers own computers, 46 per cent with internet connections.

The farming portal has more than 12,000 registered users nationwide and over 6000 items available at its online store.
