Unable to decide between a classic Swiss timepiece and the allure of an Apple Watch? Try the Pinnacle range from watchmaker Nico Gerard.
The three-piece collection claims to combine luxury Swiss craftsmanship with technology, coupling a traditional watchface with a 38mm Apple Watch worn on the inner wrist.
Prices for the stainless steel Nico Gerard Pinnacle model start at $9300, rising to $9500 for the Skyview Pinnacle and $112,000 for the 18-karat gold Sunrise Pinnacle. Just placing a reservation to buy one of the watches costs between $200 and $500.
Given that you'll have to wait between 10 and 12 months for the cheapest model, it's pretty likely the second generation of Apple Watch will either be planned for release or have made it into stores next year.
The Apple Watch 2 is rumoured to boast a video camera for FaceTiming and inbuilt WiFi to free it from its paired iPhone and new premium-priced models.
